Required for as soon as possible. This is a permanent position (subject to 6-month probationary period)

Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Grade E spinal point 8 (£17,738.99-£18,143.16)
30 hrs per week term time only (8.30am-3.30pm)

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, experienced, committed and caring teaching assistant to work within our school.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 teaching assistant or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children in a primary setting
  • Experience in delivering intervention programmes to support reading, writing and mathematics
  • Excellent subject knowledge in literacy and mathematics
  • The ability to work with a range of pupils with different needs, including SEND and EAL
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Have very good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have a willingness to undertake training
  • Be flexible and adaptable
